Mr Om Lahoti is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at King’s College Hospital London, a premiere teaching hospital. He received his Orthopaedic training in Dublin, Ireland and South East Thames training circuit in London. He was a National Fellow of Paediatric Orthopaedic surgery at Sheffield Children’s hospital in 1996. He received advanced training in complex lower limb problems in world famous Ilizarov Centre for Limb Reconstruction, Kurgan, Russia. He has published several papers in medical journals and written text book chapters. His surgical technique has won the best paper award at the British Limb Reconstruction Society in Bristol in 2010. He is actively involved in postgraduate training in South East Thames training circuit and conducts regular teaching programs in Paediatric Orthopaedics, limb deformity correction and organises training courses for junior surgeons. He has presented papers and given invited lectures at national and international conferences. Mr Lahoti continues to undertake charitable work in India and support medical charities in UK. He also lectures on infant hip examination at courses run by Baby Lifeline Charity through out UK.

He specialises in Adult and Children’s Foot and Ankle problems (bunions, flat feet, foot and ankle injuries), sports injuries, complex trauma reconstruction including hip and knee replacements.

He provides a comprehensive and holistic assessment of lower limb problems. Mr Lahoti’s emphasis is on making patients better and keeping them active. He believes in sustainable recovery using physiotherapy and surgical management of common problems. He uses minimally invasive and keyhole surgery techniques whenever possible to shorten recovery time after injury and surgery.
